Product Description:

An optic attenuator is a fiber optic device used to reduce the power level of an optical signal in an optical fiber. Geehe’ offers both variable and inline fixed single-mode (SM) and Polarization Maintaining (PM) fiber-based attenuators.
The fixed fiber optic attenuator consists of an LC simplex male on one end and an LC simplex female on the other end. It is typically used to either test power levels or reduce the power levels of an optical signal.

The LC UPC fiber attenuator contains doped fiber and suitable for both 1310nm and 1550nm operation. Fixed attenuation values are available in 1dB increments from 1 to 25dB. We have a mature attenuator production process, and can fully meet customer needs.


Attenuators enable the installer to adjust the optical power level without changing the other components, or cutting and splicing the fiber.
